Buenas! al final estoy en el registro de matrícula consular cómo no residente pero me dijeron en el consulado de Cork (dónde verificaron mi identidad y mi solicitud) que la solicitud de voto, aún por correo tenía obligatoriamente que ser en la embajada de Dublin y presencial. Teniendo de plazo hasta el 29 (justo al día siguiente de llegar al país), así que finalmente no me ha sido posible solicitar el voto por desgracia. Me han remitido información para realizar el trámite desde el consulado en Cork (cómo apuntáis el plazo es el 29), y tengo que remitir por correo postal la información a la embajada así que va a ser bajarse del avión e intentar realizar el trámite. Sigue sin quedarme muy claro por la información que me dan si estaría dentro de plazo o no, pero habrá que intentarlo. Un saludo

Pues estás de suerte, porque han prorrogado la fecha para inscribirse como residente temporal (que es lo que necesitas hacer) hasta el 29 de junio, lo vas a tener muy justo, porque efectivamente tienes que acudir presencialmente al consulado de Dublín, pero no imposible!

Buenas tardes, quería haceros llegar las dificultades que estoy teniendo para que me aclaren las posibilidades que tengo para ejercer mi derecho a voto desde Irlanda. He intentado votar por correo desde España, pero por plazos no llegarían las papeletas a mi domicilio antes de viajar a Cork (viajo el 28 de Junio). En la información oficial disponible, dice que debo estar registrado en el registro de matrícula consular antes del día 24 y que debe ser presencial tanto este registro cómo la solicitud del voto. Por tanto, si no estoy en el país hasta el 28, ¿quiere decir que no está contemplada esa casuística y que se vulnera mi derecho a voto? ¿O existen excepciones para ciudadanos en mi situación?.,
He llamado numerosas veces a la embajada en Dublin, al viceconsulado de Cork y he mandado el siguiente email:

soy ciudadano español residente y censado en Málaga, el próximo 28 de Junio viajo a Cork por 5 semanas y quisiera registrarme en el Registro de Matrícula Consular previamente, para poder ejercer mi derecho a voto cuando esté en el país (como No residente).
Agradecería información sobre el procedimiento (si existe vías telemáticas), ya que poseo certificado digital, los plazos (ya que vuelo a CORK el 28 de Junio, NO puedo votar por correo desde casa y la información que poseo es que debo de estar registrado en el registro consular antes del 24 de Junio). Además, si puedo solicitar el voto y votar presencialmente en el viceconsulado de Cork o debo tener una dirección postal a la cual me remitan la documentación e información electoral.
Por último y no menos importante, sería de gran ayuda para ejercer mi derecho a voto que, amablemente, adjuntaran los formularios de inscripción y/o links oficiales desde los cuales se pueden tramitar las mismas (en el caso de que por vía telemática esté habilitada la solicitud de voto y/o el registro en la matrícula consular).
