On Saturday 1 Dec we are hosting a day in memory of the International Brigades and the fight against fascism during the Spanish Civil War.
Doors open at 12pm. This event is organised by Marea Granate Brighton and the International Brigade Memorial Trust. There will be a photo exhibition; screenings of a selection of documentaries; readings of poems written by people from the Brigades and other antifascist poets of that time period; finishing with Na-Mara in concert, a folk band that will make you dance with their historical and contemporary songs!
The bar will be open and we will be selling affordable homemade vegan food!
